In embodiment of Nalut University's continuous support for scientific activities, the university president, Professor Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, participated in the important preparatory meeting held in the city of Yafran, which was dedicated to discussing the final preparations for the fifth international scientific conference titled: Scholars, Icons, and Landmarks of Libya.

The meeting held at the "Sheikh Amer Al-Shamakhi Center for Teaching the Holy Quran" in the city of Yafran included a select group of academic and social leaders, headed by the Mayor of Yafran, the President of the Al-Istiqaama Foundation for the Holy Quran and its Sciences, and the President of the Nafusa Foundation for Social Communication, along with members of the preparatory and scientific committees for the conference.
