The Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation at the university represents the core nucleus for establishing and developing a comprehensive framework of specific policies and activities, with clear programs and objectives through which it seeks to elevate the level of academic and professional performance alike. This is manifested in the fields of education, learning, and scientific research, while reinforcing the principles of self-evaluation, development, and continuous improvement based on the university's vision, mission, and goals, and in accordance with academic accreditation standards. Furthermore, the office aims to activate the university's role in serving the community, achieving sustainable development goals, as well as enhancing scientific and humanitarian relations with relevant institutions at both local and global levels.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The Quality and Performance Evaluation Office at the university is considered the authorized entity through which the internal review and performance evaluation processes are conducted to ensure quality across all academic, administrative, professional, research, and service units, in addition to a set of influencing factors aimed at improving their performance.

It is specifically concerned with the following:

First: The tasks of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office at the university are as follows:

  • Proposing standards related to the quality of higher education, presenting them for accreditation, and monitoring them.
  • Proposing performance standards and quality control for components of higher education related to university faculty, curricula, laboratories, university buildings, higher education management, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Supervising the exchange of information with specialized regional and international entities, comparing the standards applied at its university and colleges with those applied at the university or its affiliated colleges, and working on their development.
  • Proposal to establish work procedures, rules, and guidelines for performance improvement and ensuring the quality of higher education.
  • Conducting field studies and participating in them to align university education outcomes with labor market needs, and providing recommendations in this regard.
  • Preparation of periodic and annual follow-up reports on the office's activities

Secondly: The tasks of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department at the college are as follows:

  • Proposing standards related to the quality of education at the college, presenting them for accreditation, and monitoring them.
  • Proposing performance standards and quality control for the components of higher education at the college, related to university faculty, curricula, laboratories, university buildings, higher education management, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Supervising the exchange of information with specialized regional and international entities, and comparing the standards applied therein with those in colleges to develop the applied standards.
  • Proposal to establish work procedures, rules, and guidelines for performance improvement and ensuring the quality of education at the college.
  • Conducting field studies and participating in them to align the college's educational outcomes with the needs of the labor market, and providing recommendations in this regard.
  • Preparation of periodic and annual follow-up reports on the department's activities.
