The Research and Scientific Consulting and Training Center at Nalut University is pleased to welcome you to its official website, which represents a knowledge window that combines rigorous scientific research, specialized consulting expertise, and academic and professional training aimed at serving the Libyan community and its institutions. The center is considered one of the scientific pillars supporting the university's journey, as it undertakes the responsibility of providing accurate research information and data, and offering specialized scientific advice to public and private entities and decision-making circles, contributing to the understanding of phenomena, crises, and strategic, developmental, and social issues, locally, regionally, and internationally, through reliable scientific studies and well-planned work programs that steadily move towards serving the homeland. The center adopts an approach based on excellence and quality in research, consulting, and training performance, striving to achieve the vision of Nalut University aimed at building an advanced knowledge society that keeps pace with the challenges of the era and preserves the constants of the nation. The center also seeks to enhance communication and integration between the university and its community environment by implementing applied studies, establishing scientific partnerships with research institutions inside and outside Libya, and organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops that contribute to developing research capabilities and exchanging experiences. We believe that scientific research is the most important path towards development and progress, and that investing in minds and human energies is the foundation of national renaissance. From this standpoint, we invite all researchers and interested individuals to contribute to the center's journey by participating in its research, consulting, and training programs, so that Nalut University remains a beacon of knowledge, a monument of creativity, and a home of expertise in the service of the homeland and society.

The center is a distinguished house of expertise in scientific research and community service, effectively contributing to sustainable development and knowledge building in Libya, with a quality performance in providing consulting services and training plans.

Enhancing the level of scientific research and innovation at Nalut University by supporting researchers, providing specialized scientific consultations, and implementing training programs aimed at developing research and professional skills, thereby strengthening communication between the university and the community and achieving integration between academic knowledge and developmental needs.

The Center for Scientific Research and Consultations at the university aims to achieve a comprehensive and integrated scientific renaissance by conducting research, addressing some of the problems facing society to work on resolving them, providing scientific consultations, and holding conferences, workshops, and seminars that contribute to the advancement of society. This is done across all disciplines in the fields of humanities and applied sciences, as well as disciplines related to the activities of the university's affiliated colleges, which operate under the direct supervision of the university president. It specifically has the following:

  • Encouraging and supporting distinguished scientific research in various scientific and humanitarian disciplines
  • Linking university activities to the needs of the community and its productive and service institutions through studies and scientific consultations
  • Developing the skills and capabilities of faculty members, researchers, and students in the fields of scientific research, statistical analysis, and modern technologies
  • Organizing conferences, seminars, and scientific workshops that enhance knowledge exchange and research experience
  • Building scientific collaboration networks with local and international research centers and organizations
  • Contributing to finding scientific solutions to the problems facing the local and regional community
  • Support for the publication of peer-reviewed scientific research and the promotion of a culture of innovation among students and faculty members
  • Contributing to the development of plans and programs that achieve the university's vision and objectives set forth in the strategic plan
  • Supervising the implementation of the university's strategic plan regarding the research aspect
  • Directing research and studies towards sustainable development and community service
  • Providing scientific consultations to production and service institutions and assisting in resolving some of the problems they face
  • Contributing to the achievement of a comprehensive scientific renaissance that keeps pace with the times and preserves the constants of the nation
  • Proposing and defining the goals, policies, and priorities of scientific research within the university in a way that ensures the implementation of the decisions of the University Council
  • Conducting research, studies, and scientific consultations, and developing scientific and time programs to achieve objectives
  • Preparation, training, and development of human resources to qualify and train them to achieve the goals
  • Proposing recommendations regarding the furnishing and equipping of laboratories, providing laboratory, field, medical, pharmaceutical, and engineering capabilities, as well as everything related to applied and human sciences, through agreements made with specialized companies that have expertise and quality in this field.
  • Coordination with the administrative and financial units of the university regarding the preparation of the annual budget for the Research and Scientific Consulting Center and the training budget by discussing the university's general budget during the university council meetings.
  • Promoting the concept and culture of international cooperation among faculty members and researchers through scientific courses, workshops, and conferences.
  • Coordination between researchers from faculty members and university staff and their counterparts in international universities to convey the idea of research integration
  • Preparing studies and research, conducting public opinion surveys and field surveys on issues related to local security, social welfare, and economic and political developments
