The Research and Scientific Consulting and Training Center at Nalut University is pleased to welcome you to its official website, which represents a knowledge window that combines rigorous scientific research, specialized consulting expertise, and academic and professional training aimed at serving the Libyan community and its institutions. The center is considered one of the scientific pillars supporting the university's journey, as it undertakes the responsibility of providing accurate research information and data, and offering specialized scientific advice to public and private entities and decision-making circles, contributing to the understanding of phenomena, crises, and strategic, developmental, and social issues, locally, regionally, and internationally, through reliable scientific studies and well-planned work programs that steadily move towards serving the homeland. The center adopts an approach based on excellence and quality in research, consulting, and training performance, striving to achieve the vision of Nalut University aimed at building an advanced knowledge society that keeps pace with the challenges of the era and preserves the constants of the nation. The center also seeks to enhance communication and integration between the university and its community environment by implementing applied studies, establishing scientific partnerships with research institutions inside and outside Libya, and organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops that contribute to developing research capabilities and exchanging experiences. We believe that scientific research is the most important path towards development and progress, and that investing in minds and human energies is the foundation of national renaissance. Tasks and Responsibilities:
It is a research and consulting institution affiliated with Nalut University, tasked with providing information and data, as well as offering expertise and advice in various interconnected specialized scientific fields to the Libyan community and decision-making circles regarding phenomena, crises, events, and strategic, developmental, and social issues at local, regional, and international levels that affect Libya's interests through distinguished research and consulting work. It consists of specialized scientific research centers aimed at achieving a comprehensive and integrated scientific renaissance through research, studies, scientific consultations, and more, across all disciplines in the fields of humanities and applied sciences, as well as all disciplines related to the activities of the university's colleges. It carries out its functions under the direct supervision of the Secretary of the People's Committee of the university, and it specifically has the following:
- Proposing and defining the goals, policies, and priorities of scientific research within the university in a way that achieves the implementation of the decisions of the basic popular conferences in this field.
- Conducting research, studies, and scientific consultations, and developing scientific and time programs to achieve its objectives.
- Preparing, nurturing, training, and developing qualified and trained human resources necessary to achieve its goals.
- Coordination with the relevant authorities both inside and outside the Great Jamahiriya regarding the achievement of its objectives.
- Incorporating undergraduate and graduate study programs in examining and solving the problems of the Libyan Arab community.
- Participation in organizing seminars and research and scientific workshops related to their specialties, either individually or in collaboration with corresponding entities inside and outside the Great Jamahiriya.
