As part of the distinguished scientific and research collaboration between academic institutions, Dr. Adel Suleiman Askar (a faculty member at Nalut University and the director of the university's language center) participated as a supervisor and rapporteur in the discussion of the master's thesis presented by researcher Aya Mohammed Baghni (affiliated with the Libyan Academy halls in Nalut) in the English Language Department – School of Languages at the Libyan Academy/Ganzour.

The scientific efforts led by Dr. Adel Suleiman Askar, along with researcher Aya Mohamed, resulted in the approval of the discussion committee for the thesis on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, which was titled:

"Oral Corrective Feedback in English Classrooms: Teachers' Practices and Students' Uptake at the Faculty of Education in Nalut"

The study—conducted at the Faculty of Education in Nalut—focused on oral corrective feedback practices in English language classrooms and the extent to which students comprehend them. It is considered one of the pioneering studies in the local context that relied on direct classroom observation to provide empirical evidence that contributes to the development of teaching methods and the enhancement of English language learning strategies.
