The Faculty of Engineering at Jadu University in Nalut shines at the "Doctoral School Days" in Tunisia.. Active participation in the fields of artificial intelligence and enhancing regional cooperation.


As part of enhancing the scientific and research presence of the Faculty of Engineering at Jadu University in Nalut, several faculty members participated in the second session of the Doctoral School Days organized by the National School of Engineers in Gabes on November 18 and 19, 2025, under the slogan: "Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications."


The forum witnessed the attendance and participation of several Maghreb universities, with the participation of Nalut University and Sabratha University from Libya, Ouargla University from Algeria, along with Gabes University from Tunisia.


The college delegation made a notable and impactful presence at various events of the forum, where Professor Issa Suleiman Lachehb – the Dean of the college, participated in a seminar on the prospects of cooperation between Libyan, Tunisian, and Algerian universities, providing a rich discussion and a clear vision on ways to develop academic and research collaboration among higher education institutions in the region, contributing to the establishment of sustainable partnerships and enhancing knowledge exchange and scientific expertise.

Professor Miloud Zakaria Al-Azabi, the head of the university faculty members and a faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering in Jadu, also participated in scientific discussions during a lecture titled:

Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific Research

Reviewing the role of artificial intelligence tools in supporting scientific research and enhancing the quality of academic output.


In the same context, Professor Abdel Fattah Al-Mabrouk enriched the Bakoush group – the Dean of Scientific Affairs at the college.

The forum sessions through its interaction and qualitative questions during a lecture titled:

Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Solar Energy Systems: Challenges, Recommendations, and Future Directions

Where he presented a set of precise scientific questions that contributed to deepening the dialogue and directing the discussion towards promising research horizons in the field of solar energy and applications of artificial intelligence.

Mr. Abdul Hamid Mohammed Al-Hajjam participated in managing a lecture session titled

artificial intelligence techniques in solar energy systems challenges, recommendations, and future directions

Where he played a prominent role in organizing the dialogue and managing the scientific interventions, which contributed to enhancing the quality of the discussion and raising the level of academic interaction during the session.

This participation comes in the context of Nalut University’s commitment to enhancing academic collaboration with scientific and research institutions, and supporting its presence in specialized forums, which contributes to improving the quality of education and scientific research within the university.
