Participation of Nalut University in the official launch ceremony of the digital transformation project for Libyan universities
In an important step towards establishing an integrated digital system and keeping up with modern technological developments, the President of Nalut University, Prof. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, along with Mr. Adel Suleiman Arafa (the contact person for the digital transformation project at Nalut University), participated on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in the official launch ceremony of the "Digital Transformation of Libyan Universities" project, which was held at the Corinthia Hotel in the capital, Tripoli, in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The participation of Nalut University in this event comes to emphasize its continuous commitment to actively engage in the pathways of digital transformation and to benefit from this strategic project that aims to:
• Employing modern technologies to enhance the quality of services provided to students and faculty members.
• Enhancing institutional performance efficiency and developing technical capabilities to create an advanced educational environment.
• Improving information exchange mechanisms and enhancing integration among Libyan higher education institutions in line with international standards.
The university administration reaffirms its determination to harness all resources to implement the outcomes of this project, aiming to achieve a comprehensive digital transformation across all sectors and institutions of Nalut University.
