Nalut University participates in the launch of the national initiative to save the unity of the judiciary
In the context of enhancing the academic role in the stability of state institutions, Nalut University participated on the morning of Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the national scientific forum organized by the School of Legal Sciences at the Libyan Academy of Graduate Studies in Janzour, to launch the "National Initiative to Save the Unity of the Judiciary and Strengthen its Independence."
Representing Nalut University in this academic and legal forum are:
- Dr. Mohammed Osman Abd Al-Sayed.
- Mohammed Dhu Abukhreis.
- Dr. Sami Mustafa Al-Farghani.
- Mr. Omar Rajab Al-Mahrouq (Deputy for Scientific Affairs at the Faculty of Law in Nalut), who presented a substantial scientific intervention during the forum that addressed the dimensions of the initiative.
The forum also witnessed a valuable contribution from Dr. Mohamed Abd Al-Sayed (Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Al-Ruhaybat branch), which received praise from the attendees and effectively contributed to the modification and development of several sections of the main proposal for the initiative.
Key objectives of the initiative:
- Maintaining the unity of the judicial institution and preventing its division.
- Empowering the judiciary to address its crises internally and with robust legal tools.
- Establishment of a transitional higher judicial authority based on seniority criteria.

شهد الملتقى حضور رئيس الأكاديمية الليبية ومدير الإدارة القانونية بوزارة التعليم العالي، بمشاركة نخبة من عمداء وأعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليات القانون من جامعات:
