Nalut University marks its media and academic presence in public health awareness and food control 2026/07/21
As part of enhancing the community and scientific role of Nalut University, and at the kind invitation of the official Libya channel, Dr. Nagy Al-Hadi Abu Ras (Director of the Center for Scientific Research and Consultations and a faculty member in the Public Health Department at the College of Medical Technology at Nalut University) was hosted on the program "Open Space" presented by the media personality Tarek Ayad.
The meeting, which lasted a full hour, addressed a complex and important issue that affects the health of every citizen, namely "food contaminants and consumer safety." Dr. Nagy Abu Ras focused primarily on:

Misuse and Lack of Oversight: The harms of excessive use or unregulated importation and the impact of pesticide residues on public health, consumer awareness, and solutions: daily preventive tips for handling vegetables and fruits, and how to activate regulatory bodies and legislation to reduce food contamination
