In support of cultural and scientific movement, and to enhance communication with academic institutions and publishing houses, Professor Dr. Elias Abubakr Al-Barouni, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Nalut University, visited the Nalut University booth participating in the third edition of the International Public Prosecution Book Fair on Sunday, October 19, 2026. The event began on Wednesday, October 14, and will continue until October 24, 2026.
He was welcomed by Mr. Ramadan Youssef Askar, the Director of the General Administration of Libraries, Publications, and Publishing at Nalut University, and Mr. Farid Masoud Kafu, the Director of the Library Affairs Office at the university, where he reviewed the university's publications and its cultural and scientific participation. He also witnessed the pavilion receiving a number of guests and visitors.
The visit included a tour of the exhibition halls to review the latest publications from universities, scientific institutions, and local and international publishing houses, as well as to learn about specialized books and references that keep pace with scientific and knowledge developments. The focus was on identifying the scientific resources needed by the College of Economics and Political Science, which contributes to enriching its library and providing quality references that support students and faculty members in their educational and research endeavors.
This visit reaffirms the importance of books as a fundamental pillar for building knowledge, a bridge for communication between universities and publishing institutions, and an effective tool for enhancing the quality of education and scientific research.
