The "Dream" hall in the city of Zuwara will witness the first scientific session of the fourth international scientific conference, titled "Scholars, Figures, and Landmarks of Nafusa and Zuwara: Past and Present," this morning, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

The session is currently being held under the slogan "Nafusa: Authenticity and Modernity," and the scene is distinguished by the presence of a select group of professors, experts, and specialists from various Libyan and Arab universities and scientific centers.

The session results in a fruitful scientific and cultural interaction, as the participating research reflects a remarkable geographical diversity, presented by researchers from Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and the Sultanate of Oman.

The organizers of the conference hope that these scientific sessions will contribute to achieving the conference's goals, particularly in enhancing the cultural and scientific heritage of the Nafusa Mountains and Zuwara region, and highlighting the pivotal role of scholars and figures in shaping the history and present of the area.
