Outstanding scientific participation of Nalut University at the Second International Conference at Zawiya University
In embodiment of the vision of Nalut University in supporting scientific research and building bridges of academic communication with prestigious educational institutions, the university participated with a select group of its staff in the events of the "Second International Philosophical Conference for Graduate Studies," which was hosted by Al-Zawiya University on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in the Martyrs' Hall at the Al-Zawiya Oil Refining Company.
The university's participation was distinguished through two scientific papers that highlighted essential academic and developmental issues:
- First post:
Professor Najia Khalifa Al-Tayef, a faculty member at the College of Medical Technology in Nalut, presented a research paper titled:
"The Role of Philosophy in Enhancing Critical Thinking among Graduate Students in Libyan Universities"
In which I focused on the importance of the philosophical approach in building a conscious analytical mindset for researchers at the graduate level.
- Second participation:
Professor Intisar Khalifa Al-Tayef, a faculty member at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science in Nalut, presented a research paper titled:
"The Contribution of Information Technology to Improving Education to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals"
It addressed the role of digital transformation in improving educational outcomes in line with international development standards.
The conference was held under the slogan "For a Philosophical Thought that Establishes Productive and Influential Graduate Studies," and witnessed a wide attendance of a select group of researchers from various Libyan, Arab, and international universities (Tunisia, Algeria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Sudan, and Mauritania).
