Union participation in a meeting with His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education with the deans and representatives of Libyan university employees
The expanded meeting held by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Al-Dbeib, yesterday, Sunday (July 26, 2026), at the ministry's headquarters, witnessed the attendance and participation of the Employees' Union of Nalut University. The meeting was attended by the union's president, Mr. Mohamed Issa Zakri, along with Mr. Mousa Salem Yaqub, a member of the executive office of the General Union of Higher Education Employees.
The meeting was attended by the General Secretary of Higher Education Employees, Mr. Salah Al-Din Al-Sweih, the members of the General Union, the deans of universities and the Libyan Academy, in addition to a number of directors of departments and offices at the ministry.

- Improving the Work Environment: Discussing topics related to employee conditions and ways to enhance administrative and professional performance in higher education institutions.
- Training and Qualification: The Minister's confirmation of the ministry's commitment to enhancing the efficiency of administrative staff through training programs, considering them a fundamental pillar in the progress of the educational and administrative process.
- Rights and Duties: Emphasizing the protection of employees' rights in accordance with applicable legislation, while adhering to job responsibilities to improve the quality of services provided.
- Enhancing communication: Inviting the leadership of the General Union to attend the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities; to review the files and issues related to sector employees.
