The First Forum for Media Office Directors of Universities, the Academy, and the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research

In confirmation of its commitment to establishing its institutional media discourse, Nalut University participates in the first forum for media office directors at universities, the academy, and the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research.

The University of Nalut, represented by the Director of the Communication and Media Office, Mr. Abdul Azim Ali Askar, participated in the first forum for the directors of media offices at universities, the Libyan Academy, and the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, which was organized by the Communication and Media Office at the ministry today, Monday (August 17, 2026) in the meeting hall at the headquarters of the Diwan.Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research - Libya

The forum witnessed a distinguished attendance led by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dhib, and the Director of the Communication and Media Office at the ministry, Mr. Marwan Al-Arbash, along with the participation of several department directors at the ministry and representatives from the media offices of universities and academic and research institutions.

  • The reality of media work and challenges: an overview of the current situation and available resources, examining the field difficulties faced by offices and proposing solutions to address them and overcome obstacles.
  • Performance and digital content development: identifying training needs to enhance employee efficiency, improving drafting methods, while emphasizing the use of artificial intelligence tools and modern technologies to keep up with digital media.
  • Institutional coordination and communication: Establishing flexible and direct mechanisms for coordination between media offices and the ministry to facilitate the exchange of news, information, and media materials with transparency and speed.
  • Joint work and a unified vision: agreement on priorities and practical outcomes to build a continuous communication channel between all offices, ensuring the highlighting of scientific and research initiatives and activities of universities to the community.

This participation comes as part of Nalut University’s ongoing commitment to keep pace with digital transformation and to develop its media and communication plan in a way that ensures the enhancement of its academic presence and the optimal transmission of its scientific and community message.
