On the morning of yesterday, Monday, April 27, 2026, the first meeting of the directors of information and documentation offices from the colleges was held in the meeting room of the General Administration Building at Nalut University. This meeting is part of the university's efforts to enhance technical coordination, develop digital performance, and unify work mechanisms.

The meeting was held in a joint coordination between the Director of the Information and Documentation Center and the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the university, with the presence and honor of the President of Nalut University and the University Registrar, confirming the strategic importance that the university administration places on this sector.

Key items and agenda of the meeting:

The meeting discussed several key areas aimed at organizing and developing the work of the offices, which are: -

  • Coordination of Work Mechanisms: Exploring ways to enhance direct cooperation between the information and documentation offices in the colleges and the university administration to ensure the smooth flow of tasks and unify efforts.
  • Training and Development: A review of training programs dedicated to office managers to enhance technical efficiency and keep up with developments in the field of information technology. 
  • Providing needs: Discussing the supply of offices with the necessary requirements and needs that ensure the efficient implementation of the approved work plan.
  • Technical support and systems: Focusing on activating the role of offices in providing integrated technical support for the study and examination system, and working on supporting and developing the official websites of the colleges.
  • The regulatory and organizational framework: Initiating the preparation and issuance of the internal regulations governing the work of information and documentation offices in colleges to ensure the institutionalization and administrative and technical organization of the work.
  • Evaluation and Follow-up: Agreement on establishing a clear mechanism for the periodic assessment of office performance in colleges to ensure the achievement of desired goals and the development of outcomes.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the university administration emphasized the role of these offices as a fundamental pillar in the university's digital transformation project, stressing the importance of adhering to professional standards for developing the technical services provided to all university members.
