The "Shorus Scientific Journal" at Nalut University receives an accreditation certificate from the Electronic Directory of Libyan Journals (DOLJ) for the year 2026.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research witnessed a celebration this morning, Tuesday, June 30, 2026, announcing the semi-annual local ranking of scientific journals, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with a group of academics and editors-in-chief of scientific journals.
The Nalut University participated in this celebration, represented by Dr. "Abu Al-Qasim Abdul Fattah Al-Akhdar," a member of the editorial board of the university's magazine and responsible for the quality file.
In a distinguished scientific achievement added to our university's record, it was announced during the celebration that the "Shros Scientific Journal" issued by Nalut University has been granted accreditation for the first half of 2026 by the expert committee of the National Program for the Development of Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals, officially joining the Electronic Directory of Libyan Journals (DOLJ) and achieving (the third classification) according to the approved quality standards.
It is worth noting that this distinction represents a continuation of the magazine's successive successes; previously, "Shros Magazine" established its position by achieving the third ranking for the year 2025 during the celebration held at the Faculty of Arts at Misrata University on December 21, 2025, in the presence of the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
On this occasion, the administration of Nalut University extends its highest congratulations and best wishes to the editorial board of the Shros Scientific Journal, and to all university members, including researchers and academics, affirming the university's ongoing commitment to the development and enhancement of scientific publishing to elevate our journals to the highest regional and international rankings.
