Outstanding participation of Nalut University in the sixth chess championship at the level of Libyan universities
As part of its commitment to supporting student activities and developing the intellectual and mental skills of its students, Nalut University participated in the events of the sixth chess championship at the level of Libyan universities, which kicked off in the city of Gharyan and was hosted by Gharyan University under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of 13 Libyan universities.
The tournament witnessed the participation of a delegation from Nalut University, with the presence of the Director of University Activities at the university, Mr. Rami Nouri Akeez, alongside the Director of University Activities at the ministry, in an atmosphere characterized by sportsmanship and fair competition according to the internationally recognized standards in cooperation with the Libyan Chess Federation.
The results of the championship revealed that a student from the University of Tripoli won first place, while a student from the University of Gharian came in second, a student from the University of Zintan took third place, a student from the University of Bani Walid secured fourth place, and a student from the Asmariya Islamic University came in fifth.
This participation comes as a confirmation of the interest of the Nalut University administration in being actively present in various sports and intellectual forums, as well as supporting talented students and discovering their mental abilities.
