Based on the circular received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and referencing the letter from the Libyan National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science, the university administration is pleased to invite you to participate and submit research papers and practical experiences in the events:
"The Fifth Arab Forum for the Management of Manuscript Cultural Heritage"
Under the slogan: (From the Memory of the Past to Artificial Intelligence Technologies)
And which is organized in joint coordination by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Administrative Development.
Details of the forum:
• Date of the meeting: from September 1 to September 3, 2026.
• Venue: Cairo City – Arab Republic of Egypt.
• General Objective: To discuss mechanisms for developing a comprehensive Arab vision for preserving heritage and utilizing digital technologies and artificial intelligence algorithms in cataloging manuscripts and digital restoration.
Target groups at the university:
• Esteemed members of the faculty and researchers in the relevant colleges and research centers.
• Experts in artificial intelligence and data science.
• Those interested in and researchers of Arab heritage and the humanities.
Nomination and Participation Requirements:
Those wishing to nominate themselves for participation should submit the following documents to the Office of Faculty Affairs or the Office of International Cooperation at the university as soon as possible:
1. A copy of the scientific paper or practical experiment intended for participation.
2. A copy of the resume (CV).
3. A clear picture of the passport.
• Financial Note: The registration fee for the forum is (700 US dollars), and the sponsoring entities are responsible for the travel, accommodation, and transportation expenses of their candidates.
