Important and Urgent Announcement
Regarding: Postponement of the second meeting of the Higher Council of Libyan Universities for the year 2026
Due to the security conditions in the capital, Tripoli, and several cities along the western coast and the mountains (including the city of Nalut), Nalut University, as the hosting entity, informs you that the second meeting of the Libyan Higher Council of Universities for the year 2026, which was scheduled to take place today, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, has been postponed; this is due to the inability of many participants to attend the meeting in the city of Nalut at the scheduled time.
While the university appreciates the level of coordination and preparation that the entities and individuals who received the invitation to attend this meeting have put forth, it extends its thanks and appreciation for their understanding, noting that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will announce the new date for the meeting at a later time.
